We're on the Ballot for Scottsdale City Council!

On April 2nd, I filed my signatures to be on the ballot as a candidate for Scottsdale City Council. I’m proud to qualify for this critical upcoming race. I did this one voter at a time, with only hard-working volunteers. Thank you to all the voters who took time to talk to me, and for sharing what’s important to you. Every day I am learning from all of you.  I’m grateful for all the community and family support I’ve received and look forward to a creative, healthy campaign ahead.

I’ve spent the last 20 years providing light and power all over Arizona as the owner of an electrical materials supply firm, adapting my company to new technologies and obstacles. As a positive, experienced leader with a vision to move Scottsdale forward, I will help light up the way!

My "Resources To Help” Guide and Please Consider Donating Blood

Thank you for staying connected with my campaign for Scottsdale City Council, when so much feels unsettled and unpredictable. I talk every day with so many people, and one question keeps coming up: “What can I do to help, and still stay safe”? One simple answer is to donate blood.

Resources to Help Guide —> CLICK HERE

Every 2 seconds, someone in the US needs blood. Vitalant is a blood service provider located here in Scottsdale, with over 1,000 employees that helps patients in need all across the country. This is one small thing each of us can do to help our community, stay safe, and reinvest in our local economy.

We need to “Stay Home, Stay Safe”. It’s made daily life challenging for my family and kids. We have Zoom conferences in every room. I struggle to find solutions to challenges popping up for my business. There are opportunities, too, to reconnect with and support each other.

Please visit my recently updated website. I’ve added a “Resources To Help” Guide at TammyCaputi.com/covid. It’s got great info for parents, businesses, students and employees during this time. I’m going through some of these challenges with my business, and I hope this resource helps you.

We’re blessed in Scottsdale with outdoor spaces and perfect weather for staying safe, active and fit. I’ve enjoyed my bike and hikes in our 200+ miles of the preserve with my family.

The next few months will bring obstacles we can’t predict. We must come together as one community. And we will find new opportunities to come out of this stronger than ever. Scottsdale’s tourism brand will recover in a world looking for outdoor lifestyles, sophistication and space.

How can Scottsdale help our businesses, industries and individuals recover? How can we diversify our economic base beyond tourism? How can Scottsdale remain competitive in winning science, technology and healthcare jobs? What sacrifices are we willing to make?

We need leaders who are nimble, thoughtful, experienced, and can respond to new challenges. I’ve kept my business going in a volatile industry through 20 years of good times and bad. I am a person who will provide solutions.

Please follow me on Facebook, look for my emails, and donate to my campaign if you can. Who we choose to run our city is going to matter now more than ever. Thank you for your support.

I urge everyone to STAY HOME, Stay Safe!

I urge everyone to STAY HOME, Stay Safe!

Some candidates for elected office in Scottsdale’s City Council and Mayoral races have suggested following “limited social distancing” measures. I stand unequivocally with the experts of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and urge everyone in our community to continue to STAY HOME, Stay Safe. Once the experts, respected physicians, and scientists, tell us that it is safe for our children to go back to school and resume normal, but cautious daily activities, I’m sure we’ll all breathe easier.
