I’M TAMMY CAPUTI

I’ve lived and worked in Scottsdale for over 20 years. Arizona is my home. I’m the President of Yale Electric West , a company I founded here in Scottsdale in 2001.

Yale Electric West is an electrical materials supplier specializing in commercial construction projects. I’ve spent the last twenty years lighting up the Phoenix Valley, and I’m passionate about lighting up Scottsdale with my knowledge, experience and positive, forward-thinking vision. Please give my positions a few minutes of your time.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA and a Master’s in Business Administration from Simmons University in Boston, MA. I’m a Fellow with the Flinn-Brown Arizona Center for Civic Leadership and Leading for Change. I had the honor to serve a three- year term on the Development Review Board for the City of Scottsdale. I’m the Chair of SCOTT, an organization dedicated to promoting, enhancing and improving Scottsdale’s quality of life and economic vitality through community education and involvement in public policy issues.

I’ve been interested in health and fitness all my life and participate regularly in many outdoor activities and physical pursuits. I’ve been married for 17 years and have 3 young daughters who attend school in the Paradise Valley School District. As your newly elected councilor, I am energized and outspoken and committed to working towards a continually improving Scottsdale that represents our shared civic values of opportunity, responsibility, and community that includes all of our voices.
